I chose to light only a small part of face and also to look away from the light in most of the shots to give the impression of trying to hide away.

I also chose the black polyboard to absorb any extra light instead of reflecting it so i could have dark shadows on the other side of the face, this also helped to show my emotion in the portraits.

Evaluation : overall im pleased with the outcome however on some of the portraits the focus is not on the eyes. To improve i would have done the shoot again this time making sure i had focussed the camera correctly.
